Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature class represents the roadway centerline network Harrison County, Mississippi, used as a foundational transportation and addressing dataset. They are partially aligned with National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Next-Gen 911 (NG911) standards, and are also partially aligned with the legacy E-911 standards. Each polyline feature corresponds to a discrete road segment and includes attributes that support street naming, left/right addressing ranges, road classification, directionality, lane count, ownership, and operational status.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The dataset is designed to support multiple county departmental functions, especially Harrison County E-911 routing and response agents, as well as more generalized transportation planning and cartographic display. Address range fields define the valid left and right address intervals for each segment (aligned with the segments directionality), and are determined by the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) as provided by the 911 addressing coordinator for the county.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Additional attributes capture roadway characteristics such as functional class, travel direction, one-way status, posted speed, number of lanes, and ownership. Network-related fields support connectivity, intersection relationships, and routing costs. Geometry-derived fields store segment length in both map units and miles. Other fields track feature status, verification, build condition, but these are primarily intended for other county department needs.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
